New Buildings – Customized solutions

As a consultant to the ship-owner, NAVTRON can propose the ideal, customized equipment solutions and configuration for a new building vessel, and is focused on the objectives of the ship-owner needs and the shipyard designs.

In addition, NAVTRON prepares and provides the full package of documentation, including drawings and equipment certificates.

Shore Based Maintenance

Shore Based Maintenance Agreement (SBMA) is a mandatory requirement of the IMO GMDSS regulation IV/15 SOLAS 74.

  • Approvals by 7 major IACS members plus RNA for GMDSS Radio Survey
  • Sales & Service Representation of 12 major manufacturers of GMDSS equipment
  • More than 15 years of experience in the Maritime Industry and 11 trained electronics engineers and technicians
  • Affiliation to International Ship Electrical & Engineering Service Association (I.S.E.S.)
  • All service engineers and technicians hold General Operator Certificate
  • ISO 9001:2008 & ISO 14001:2005 Certifications
  • Safety stock for Equipment & Spare Parts Supply
  • Fully equipped shore-service workshop

Annual Surveys

NAVTRON is certified by 7 IACS classes to perform Radio Communication Equipment Surveys and Annual Performance Testing (APT) for Voyage Data Recorders (S)VDR according to IMO MSC Circular 1222.
